HIM 2500 Quality Management — 2 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: HIM1300 and HIM1110. This course investigates the components of quality management programs in health care including clinical quality improvement, utilization management and risk management, as well as the medical staff and credentialing. Quality management in health information management departments is explored through case studies. Two contact hours. A.S., A.A.S.
