 Courses College Credit Courses HUM 2211 Humanities: The Foundations — 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: ENC 1101 or satisfactory score on the placement test. This course consists of the study of life and creative expressions from their origins in early cultures of the Mediterranean regions through medieval Europe as surveyed through the visual arts, music, literature, philosophy and social history. The course examines the inter action of cultural experiences that developed and were passed on to later peoples. This course pro vides a basic foundation for study of all humanities courses and includes reading and writing competencies. Three contact hours. A.A., A.S., A.A.S.
