Prerequisite: ATT 1810. This course is designed to present an analysis of factors and procedures relating to aviation safety programs, accident investigations/analysis, physiological/psychological human factors, and the effect of weather. The course familiarizes the aviation student with the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system via orientation visits to a Flight Service Station (FSS), control tower, approach control facility (TRACON), Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCC), weather center and radar sites. Four contact hours: one lecture hour, three laboratory hours. (CBE) A.S., A.A.S.
