 Courses College Credit Courses DEH 2530C Dental Hygienists Expanded Duties — 2 Credit Hours This course, designed to teach dental hygiene students expanded functions as permissible by the Florida State Dental Practice Act, will include new procedures as traditional expanded functions are ratified by the Department of Professional Regulations, Board of Dentistry (Chapter 21G-16). This course will also include manipulation of dental materials utilizing dental hygiene techniques. Three contact hours: one lecture hour, two laboratory hours. A.S., A.A.S.
