College Credit Courses
Prerequisite: MAC 1114. This course is an introduction to the basic laws of mechanics and includes a study of force, motion, moments, couples, static equilibrium, centroids, friction, work and energy. The laboratory portion of the course will emphasize the practical aspects of the above topics and will include exercises in measurements, drive systems, linkages, support members, etc. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour.
