Prerequisite: HSC 1531. This course presents the concepts and procedures for both manual and electronic health insurance claims processing. Major health insurance programs are covered and an overview of major diagnosis and procedure coding systems is provided. Hands-on software practice is provided. Two contact hours. A.S., A.A.S.
