HUS 2502 Special Issues in Addictions — 4 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: HUS 1345, HUS 2682 and HUS 2683. Students will review special critical issues and special populations associated with addiction counseling and prevention. Gender and cultural issues will be explored. Various lifestyles and their relationship to addiction and counseling will be explained. Profiles of risk groups will be examined as well. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour (clinical). A.S., A.A.S.
