College Credit Courses
Prerequisites: MAC 1140 and MAC 1114, with grades of "C" or better or two years of high school algebra and one semester of high school trigonometry, or MAC 1147 with a "C" or better. This course is designed for students who plan to major in mathematics, science, engineering, computer sciences or any other field that requires the study of calculus. It is the first course of a three-course calculus sequence. The major topics in this course are limits and continuity, differentiation of algebraic and trigonometric functions, applications of the derivative, antidifferentiation, introduction to integration and applications of the definite integral.
