(Financial Planning Associate) (2137)
The Financial Planning Associate program will
enable you to embark upon a profitable and rewarding career in
financial services. One of the fastest growing industries in the
U.S. is financial planning. This field is particularly strong
in Jacksonville where many large financial services companies
are located. Banks, insurance companies, credit unions, brokerage
firms, investment advisors and financial planners are looking
for qualified and motivated degree students. You have three options
upon graduation from our program: seek employment as a paraplanner
or in another financial services capacity; pursue the CERTIFIED
FINANCIAL PLANNER Certification Education Program; or continue
on to earn a bachelor's degree in Financil
Planning at the University of North Florida, which accepts

Expected Job Growth:
Faster than the average for all occupations through the
year 2012. Financial advisors who have the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL
PLANNER certification will have the best opportunities.
Average Salary:
Median annual earnings of personal financial advisors were $56,680
in 2002.
Completion of this program prepares the student to pursue the
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification.
