The Fire Science Technology program provides training for individuals who desire to enter the fire service, who seek employment in industrial fire protection, insurance companies or with fire protection equipment companies, or who need to upgrade their professional status and intellectual competence.

This program is designed for students who seek an associate in science and fire officer certification. This program will prepare you for employment in the fire-fighting field upon graduation. This ensures that you will receive modern, up-to-date instruction that is relevant to current practices in the field. Fire science and general education courses are offered on a primary night and alternate night or day basis.
