Prerequisite: ART 2540C. This course continues the disciplined study of skills, methods, materials and tools of watercolor painting begun in the introductory watercolor course. The emphasis of this course is the successful planning and creative execution of larger format watercolor paintings based upon visually compelling thematic ideas researched by the student. With consent of instructor, students may repeat this course twice for additional credit to a maximum of nine credit hours. Six contact hours: two lecture hours, four laboratory hours. A.A.
