Prerequisites: CGS 1071 and CGS 1824 and CDA 1302 and CDA 1403. Corequisite: CEN 1527. This course is the second of two courses teaching network and internetwork configuration (CEN 1527 and CEN 1528). It is designed for Networking Services Technology majors. Students learn how to implement and interconnect local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) using Cisco products. Although this course is not a certification preparation course, it may include much of the related Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification material. Students taking this course should also register for CEN 1527 at the same time. Four contact hours: three lecture hours; one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
