College Credit Courses
Prerequisite: reading placement test score at Level VI. Students learn to read materials that will increase their vocabulary, develop their critical thinking skills, improve their understanding of American culture and prepare them for entrance into mainstream courses. The readings will not only instruct students in comprehension techniques but also will give instruction in various aspects of American culture. Various library exercises will introduce students to the campus library and teach them how to use the resources. Three contact hours. A.A.
