College Credit Courses
Prerequisites: High school diploma or G.E.D.; Florida DCF Child Care Worker Training (initial 40-hours) certificates; national CDA certificate or its equivalent. The purpose of this overview course is to provide current and prospective child care administrators an opportunity to acquire and/or enhance information and skills in the areas of organizational leadership and personnel issues; financial and legal issues; and appropriate programming. Students who successfully complete this course will meet one of the educational requirements for the Foundational Level Florida Child Care and Education Administrator Credential, and one of the three course requirements for the Advanced Level Director Credential.
