Prerequisite: EHD 1400 with a grade of "C" or better, or with permission of the instructor. This course is a continuation of Introduction to Interpreting. This course reinforces skill development and the expressive and receptive skills of intermediate level of interpreting through drill, practice and role-play activities. Students will practice from audio taped, video taped and live voice materials, and will learn the techniques of self-assessment through video taping. The course also offers a practical component for the development of intermediate interpreting skills. Course practice materials will parallel the theoretical models. Six contact hours. A.S., A.A.S.
