 Courses College Credit Courses HIM 2214 Health Data Management — 3 Credit Hours Prerequisites: HIM 1110, MAT 1033 or MAC 1105. This course provides students with a working knowledge regarding the use of acceptable terminology, definitions and formulas necessary to compute standard health care statistics, as well as generate reports and display data. Other topics include vital statistics, registries and introduction to the research process. Hands-on experience with statistical software. Three contact hours (lecture/lab). A.S., A.A.S.
