Prerequisite: PHT 1200C. Corequisite: PHT 2252C. The course covers the theory, physiological effects, indications, contraindications and application of physical agents and mechanical modalities commonly used in physical therapy. A laboratory component provides students with an opportunity to apply and practice skills with an emphasis on safety, effectiveness and efficiency.
