 Courses College Credit Courses AER 1424 Brake: Module IV, Anti-Lock Brakes — 1 Credit Hour Prerequisite: AER 1423. This course is designed with knowledge-based, performance-based and intern-based skills identified as standards for the automotive industry. Topics will include theory, operation and repair of today's anti-lock brake systems. Specific manufacturer's procedures will be emphasized for the replacement, repair, installation and bleeding of anti-lock hydraulic components. Both vehicle warning light and appropriate scan tools will be utilized for diagnosis and repair. The knowledge skills represent theory of the topics and support the mastery of the performance-based skills for this topic. Twenty-two and one-half contact hours: fifteen lecture hours, seven and one-half laboratory hours. A.S., A.A.S.
