 Courses College Credit Courses CDA 2500 Computer Networks and Telecommunications — 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: CGS 1060 or CGS 1100. This course will provide students with the basic concepts of data communications. It will cover such topics as transmission media, modulation techniques, link control, line protocols and transmission impairments. Lab work will include setting up and using communication software, file transfer, and exploring the Internet. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour. A.A., A.S., A.A.S.
