 Courses College Credit Courses EVR 1635 Hazardous Communication Standard — 3 Credit Hours Communications required by law are the major emphasis in this course, including the worker's and community's right to know. Also, the communication that must be available to emergency responders is addressed. Specific topics include materials safety data sheets (MSDS), proper labeling of containers and placarding according to NFPA requirements, and the preparation of a written program for an industry to follow to provide a safe working environment for employees and safe living conditions for the community.
