OCB 2000C Fundamentals of Marine Biology — 4 Credit Hours

Students will benefit by taking Principles of Biology I and/or high school chemistry, physics or Introduction to General Chemistry prior to enrolling in this course. This course consists of a comprehensive survey of the dynamics and evolution of marine ecosystems with emphasis on the local flora and fauna. Laboratory includes collection and identification of marine organisms and the analysis of marine water. Six contact hours: three lecture hours, three laboratory hours. A.A.
