 Courses College Credit Courses PHY 2053C General Physics I — 4 Credit Hours Prerequisites: MAC 1140 and MAC 1114 or MAC 2311 or MAC 1147 with a grade of "C" or better. The course, designed for those students who are majoring in pre-med, physical therapy, pre-optometry, pre-dental, pre-veterinary, biological sciences, technology and geology, stresses problem-solving abilities. Subject matter includes mechanics, heat and thermodynamics. Six contact hours: three lecture hours, three laboratory hours. A.A., A.S., A.A.S.
