Prerequisite: Satisfactory score on reading and writing placement tests. This course presents the fundamental concepts of the study of religion. It deals with the origin of religion, the concept of God, death and dying in a religious context, myth, ritual, ethics, doctrine, as well as other topics that are relevant to understanding religion as an academic discipline.
