Prerequisite: ENC 1101. This course is problem-, issue-, subject-centered in its approach to the field of literature. It provides an awareness of and appreciation for major themes, movements and writers through an in-depth study of specific literary works as they relate to the special topic. The selected topic will have a multicultural emphasis. The course may be repeated only three times for credit. Consult newspaper schedule for official topics. Two contact hours. A.A.
