 Courses College Credit Courses EAP 1540 Writing Level V (ENS 1241 ESL Writing - Level II) — 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: writing sample at Level II or successful completion of EAP 0440. Corequisites: EAP 1500, EAP 1520 and EAP 1560. This course gives students practice in writing unified, coherent paragraphs. Students will learn how to develop and write specific types of paragraphs, such as process, explanation, comparison/ contrast, and course/ effect. In addition students will practice using correct grammatical structures, punctuation and spelling. Three contact hours. A.A.
