EAP 1620 Reading VI (ENS 1321 ESL Reading - Level III) — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: reading placement test score at Level III or success full completion of EAP 1520. Corequisites: EAP 1600, EAP 1640 and EAP 1660. Students learn to read materials that will increase their vocabulary, develop their critical thinking skills, improve their understanding of American culture and prepare them for entrance into main stream courses. The readings will not only instruct students in comprehension techniques but also will give instruction in various aspects of American culture. Various library exercises will introduce students to the campus library and teach them how to use the resources. Three contact hours. A.A.
