Workforce Credit Certificate Courses
Prerequisite: EEV 0816. This lecture-and-lab course is designed to familiarize participants with industrial measurement, automation and process control. The course topics include transducers and sensors, final control elements, ladder-logic and other types of electrical diagrams, basic process control and an introduction to programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Laboratory experiments provide hands-on experience and help develop safe and effective lab skills.
