Prerequisite: CGS 1060 or CGS 1570 or CGS 1100. This course is aimed at familiarizing students with the roles and advantages of databases. A series of database application projects on microcomputers is designed to build familiarity with designing, creating, loading, maintaining and updating the database. Conducting database queries and building database reports are covered. This course includes an introduction to programming in a database language.
