 Courses College Credit Courses ATF 1100 Basic Flight II — 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: ATF 1000. This course is a continuation of Basic Flight I. The course consists of basic flight maneuvers, aerodynamics, aircraft performance, weather, emergency procedures, radio communications, cross country flight, maximum takeoff and landing techniques, human factors, Federal Aviation Regulations, etc. The course requirements are met when students earn certification as Private Pilots. Florida Community College at Jacksonville will award college credit upon presentation of their FAA Private Pilot Certificate. Three contact hours (at flight school). (CBE) A.S., A.A.S.
