This course is designed to give students a firm understanding of the wireless technologies including radio frequency theory and 802.11 standards, as well as basic antenna theory, and an introduction to WLAN security and bridging techniques. Hands-on access point and client adaptor labs help students gain experience in managing a wireless LAN. Hands-on exercises are an integral part of the course.
