Workforce Credit Certificate Courses
Prerequisites: As a prerequisite of this program, each student must have completed the Correctional Basic recruit training program and be enrolled in CJST Crossover Course as required by CJST. This course includes the basic knowledge and skills for certified corrections officer(s) to cross over to become law enforcement officer(s) in: law, interpersonal communications, radio communications, note taking, report writing, interviewing, ethics, professionalism, court structure, working with communities, diverse and special populations, and information about the criminal justice system in Florida and the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission.
