Associate in Science

Architectural Design and Construction Technology (2202)

The Architectural Design and Construction Technology program prepares students for entry-level positions as architectural drafters or assistants. Typical places of employment are architectural or engineering firms and construction contractors.

Three technical certificates are included as options within this degree program, AutoCAD Foundations, Drafting and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Technician. Students may choose to pursue an A.S. degree and earn technical certificates while completing the requirements for the degree, or pursue one or more certificate programs to develop or upgrade their skills in a particular field. Contact an advisor or counselor to determine the career education path that is best for you.

Students can specialize by taking classes from one of the following tracks: Drafting and Design, Architectural, Civil or GIS.

Cost
Estimated tuition is $4,383 (for Florida residents, as of 7/06). Contact program manager about additional costs (textbooks, fees and materials).
