This course is designed to intro duce general hangar and shop safety, mathematics, physics, basic aerodynamics, aircraft ground handling and servicing; weight and balance; structural materials and processes and non-destructive inspection; air craft cleaning and corrosion control; aircraft hardware and precision measuring instruments; blueprints and drawings; hand and power tools; fluid lines and fittings; publications and records; basic electricity and DC electrical circuits; aircraft battery servicing; and AC electrical circuits; solid-state circuits; air craft generators; aircraft motors; federal aviation regulations and wiring practices Twelve contact hours: lecture/laboratory combination.
