This course is designed to intro duce skills and the necessary knowledge and understanding of aircraft airframe inspection, overhaul, and maintenance procedures and airframe systems not covered in AF I. This course includes fundamentals of basic aerodynamics, airframe structures, and rigging; aircraft welding; sheet metal structures; aircraft composites and plastics; hydraulics and pneumatics; landing gear systems; aircraft atmosphere climate control systems; fuel, ice and rain control, and fire detection, protection and extinguishing systems; instrument, position and warning, pitot static, and communications and navigation systems; and aircraft inspections.
