CEN 2303 Microsoft Database Systems Administration — 4 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: CEN 1300 or equivalent experience. The course prepares students to administer SQL servers. In-depth hands-on practice will supplement lecture on theory, concepts and terminology. This course may also include preparation for vendor certification. Topics include relational databases, installation, administration, storage, security, recovery, importing and exporting, replication, performance, tuning and troubleshooting. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
