CEN 2306 Microsoft E-mail System Administration — 4 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: CEN 1300, CGS 2555, or equivalent experience. This course prepares students to administer electronic mail systems. In-depth hands-on practice will supplement lecture on theory, concepts and terminology. This course may also include preparation for vendor certification. Topics include server architecture and installation, managing accounts, client con figuration, Internet service and protocols, security monitoring, and maintenance, interoperability, troubleshooting, and performance. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
