Prerequisite: MAC 1105 or MAC 1140 with a grade of "C" or better or satisfactory score on the placement test. This course is designed for students who plan to major in business or the social sciences. It provides an introduction to differential and integral calculus with emphasis placed on applications from business, economics and the social sciences. This course cannot be used to satisfy degree requirements for students majoring in mathematics or engineering. Three contact hours. (CBE) A.A., A.S., A.A.S.
