RTE 2385 Radiation Biology — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: RTE 2308. This course is a continuation of Radiation Protection. It will provide students with an under standing of the principles of cellular response to radiation. Factors concerning cells and tissue radio sensitivity, LET, molecular effects of irradiation, organic damage from ionizing radiation, and genetic effects will be discussed. Three contact hours. A.S., A.A.S.
