Prerequisites: CEN 2304 and CEN 1527. This course prepares students to administer TCP/IP protocols and services. Hands-on practice will supplement lecture on theory, concepts and terminology. This course may also include preparation for vendor certification. Topics include architectures, installation, utilities, addressing, bridging and routing, naming services, networking services, and diagnostics.
