Workforce Credit Certificate Courses
Prerequisite: PMT 0106. This course is designed to teach entry-level job skills in shielded metal arc welding and welding safety. It provides training to develop the manual skills necessary to make high quality shielded metal arc welds in all positions on mild steel three-eighths inch plate, multiple pass butt joints and one inch plate lap joint and air arc gouging.
