 Courses College Credit Courses DEH 1800L Clinical Dental Hygiene I Laboratory — 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: DEH 1002C. Corequisite: DEH 1800. This course builds on pre-clinical courses further developing knowledge and skills with simple clinic cases. The skills include such things as instrumentation, patient assessment, instrument sharpening, calculus detection and removal, fluoride application, dental charting, record keeping, and detailed procedures for plaque control and patient education.
