 Courses College Credit Courses DEH 2804 Clinical Dental Hygiene III — 1 Credit Hour Prerequisites: DEH 1802 and DEH 1802L. Corequisite: DEH 2804L. This course is designed to prepare the student to assume a responsible role in the private practice office environment. Emphasis is placed on dental office business systems, and personal and professional development. Private practice dental office visits are included to familiarize the student with various specialty and general dental office procedures and management, and the dental hygienists role in them. Current issues impacting the practice of dental hygiene will also be discussed and debated by the students. One contact hour. A.S., A.A.S.
