ATF 1100 Basic Flight II — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: ATF 1000. This course is a continuation of Basic Flight I. The course consists of basic and advanced flight maneuvers, aerodynamics, air craft performance, weather, emergency procedures, radio communications, cross country flight, night flight, advanced takeoff and landing techniques, human factors, Federal Aviation Regulations, etc. The course requirements are met when students earn certification as Private Pilots. FCCJ does not provide the airplane or the flight instruction required. All training is done at a private flight school of the students choice and at the students expense. FCCJ will award college credit for this instruction to currently enrolled Aviation Operations A.S. degree seeking students. This credit will be awarded upon presentation of a private pilot certificate. Three contact hours: one lecture hour, two laboratory hours. (CBE) A.S., A.A.S.
