College Credit Courses

ATF 1104 Primary Flight — 4 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: FAA student pilot certificate and FAA Class III medical certificate. This course is the first step in students eventual certification as Commercial Pilots. The course consists of basic and advanced flight maneuvers, aerodynamics, air craft performance, weather, emergency procedures, radio communications, cross country flight, night flight, advanced takeoff and landing techniques, human factors, Federal Aviation Regulations, etc. The course requirements are met when students earn certification as Private Pilots. FCCJ provides the flight instruction through a college-contracted private flight school. FCCJ will award transfer college credit for this instruction to currently enrolled students who have completed a mini mum of three ATT, ASC or ATF courses appropriate to their degree at FCCJ. Six contact hours: three lecture/ discussion hours, three laboratory hours. (CBE) A.S., A.A.S.
