College Credit Courses
Prerequisites: ATT 1104 and ATF 2200. This course is the third and final step in students certification as Commercial Pilots. The course consists of advanced flight maneuvers flown to commercial pilot standards, advanced aerodynamics, aircraft performance, weather, emergency procedures, radio communications, cross country flight, night flight, advanced takeoff and landing techniques, human factors, Federal Aviation Regulations, etc. The course requirements are met when students earn certification as Commercial Pilots. FCCJ provides the flight instruction through a college-contracted private flight school. FCCJ will award transfer college credit for this instruction to currently enrolled students who have completed a mini mum of three ATT, ASC or ATF courses appropriate to their degree at FCCJ.
