HIM 1222 ICD-9-CM Coding Principles and Laboratory — 4 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: HIM 1000, HSC 1531 and HIM 1430. This course will include various disease and operation classification systems and nomenclature with greater emphasis on ICD-9-CM applications. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
