HIM 2820 Professional Practice Experience III — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: HIM 2810 and HIM 2214. This course will provide students with a super vised experience in a Health Information Management Department. Review of basic depart ment functions. Emphasis will be placed on advanced functions of quality improvement, legal aspects, department manage ment and organizational life. Six contact hours (clinical). A.S., A.A.S.
