HIM 1224 ICD-9-CM Coding and Lab — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: HIM 1110, BSC 2085C and HIM 1433. Corequisites: BSC 2086C and HIM 1436. This course provides an introduction to diagnosis and procedure coding using ICD-9-CM, and includes both manual and computer-based practice. Three contact hours (lecture/lab). A.S., A.A.S.
