 Courses College Credit Courses FFP 1510 Codes and Standards — 3 Credit Hours This course is designed to familiarize the student/inspector with basic units of the varied fire prevention codes utilized by the fire departments throughout the nation. These codes are to include: Florida Fire Prevention Code, and NFPA 1 (Fire Prevention Code). The student will be able to explain the effects and results of fire prevention codes as they relate to prevention and containment of fires as well as other code enforcement activities related to life safety.
