 Courses College Credit Courses AER 2880 First Year Automotive Internship — 1 Credit Hour This course is an integral part of the following first year courses: AER 1007, AER 1310, AER 1610, AER 1410, AER 1450, AER 1231 and AER 1111. In order to meet the State of Florida Department of Education (DOE) and National Automotive Technician Education Foundation (NATEF) standards, interns must complete a minimum of 320 hours on-the-job learning experience addressing the standards designated in each course of instruction. While working under the mentorship of an experienced technician, students must document the required hours referenced to the standards in each module. Twenty contact hours (internship). A.S., A.A.S.
